Nobody can connect to my server?

Me and a Friend wants to host a website from home…
Heres what I did

Got XAMPP
Forwarded port 80 in my router (Made sure there going to my IP)
Put port 80 in windows firewall
Set up a DNS with DynDNS to my IP
Set up DDNS in my router

Now, onto the result, only people in my area can connect to the website, were in Kentucky. We had a Friend from New York check, he could not connect. We’ve used website tests and everything…

Whats going on? What did we leave out?

Hi Pal how are you? I am confused as to how ” ppl in your area can connect” sorry for asking but do you mean, over the wan/internet people are connecting through broadband say, Different Building different isp, to your website and getting access, that means your web access is ok from the “net” , its got open access, it must have to be able to connect to it,
But if they are in a different state, Its got to be a “Telcos” problem, Isp problem, its got to be if you got connection from wan already !
Sorry to but in and add confusion maybe, but all firewalls are ok ports are sorted you got some connection!!!
Must be ISP end…….
bye
